Wines and two ways to explore
Les Hermessaines brings together Côtes du Rhône wines, vineyard visits and truffle grove discoveries around Solérieux. You can plan a wine purchase, a visit or both during your stay in Drôme provençale.
Visits require a confirmed appointment. Choose the vineyards or truffle groves and tell us your dates and group size; we agree the route and programme with you before you arrive.
Who produces and who sells?
Domaine Les Hermessaines is the trading name of EARL DU GRAND BOIS, the farm that produces and supplies the wines. MGCODB resells L’Automne, Résonance and Le Trésor de Fripon and is your contractual seller.
Maxime Chauvin is the representative of MGCODB listed in the legal notice. The French business directory records EARL du Grand Bois as established on 1 April 1992.
The three labels present the same 2024 Côtes du Rhône red wine. Choosing a label does not change the wine’s blend.
€10 including tax per 75 cl bottle and €50 including tax per case of 6 bottles, excluding shipping.
Visits by appointment in Suze-la-Rousse
We welcome you at 637 route de Bigary, 26790 Suze-la-Rousse, by confirmed appointment only. The premises are not continuously staffed: please wait for our confirmation so someone will be there when you arrive.
For vineyard or truffle grove visits, we also confirm the meeting point and access to the plot. MGCODB’s registered office at 695 route de Bigary is not the visitor reception address.
Vineyard walk: €20 including tax per person per hour. Truffle hunting with dogs in the truffle groves: €99 including tax per person.
Visits are mainly in French. A tasting can be arranged for adults; its content and any other language must be confirmed before the visit.

Every visit requires a quotation. The programme and total price including tax depend on group size, season and agreed services. Your appointment is confirmed after agreement on the quotation.
Visit options and practical detailsVisit the truffle orchards
Truffle grove discovery visits can be requested all year round, by quotation. The programme is confirmed according to the season and conditions on the day. Harvesting and hunting for Tuber melanosporum are winter activities, generally from December to March; no harvest or truffles to take home are guaranteed.
