A case of six bottles: price, delivery or collection?

A case of six 75 cl bottles costs €50 including VAT, excluding shipping, or around €8.33 per bottle. A bottle bought individually costs €10 including VAT. Collection at the cellar is by appointment, with no shipping charge. For delivery, the total amount is specified in a quotation.
What the case price includes
Six bottles contain 4.5 litres. The calculation gives €50 ÷ 6 = €8.33 per bottle and €50 ÷ 4.5 = €11.11 per litre, after rounding. The case is charged at €50, rather than six times the rounded average price. Six bottles at the individual price would cost €60.
The catalogue presents the same 2024 red wine under three labels: L’Automne, Résonance and Le Trésor de Fripon, resold by MGCODB. Specify the label you would like. If you want to mix labels in a case, have the selection and price confirmed before ordering.
Comparing the delivered price
For a shipped case, the average cost per bottle is (€50 + shipping quoted) ÷ 6. Compare offers for the same bottle size and number of bottles. A price excluding shipping is not enough to compare two delivered offers.
State the quantity, country, town, postcode and preferred date in your enquiry. The quotation should identify the carrier, charges and delivery time; no flat shipping rate or delivery time is promised here. Read the delivery arrangements before confirming.
For collection, wait for confirmation that the order is ready and that your appointment at the cellar is agreed, currently at 637 route de Bigary in Suze-la-Rousse. If you would also like to visit the vineyards, mention this: collecting a case does not reserve a visit.
You can enquire about a case, specifying the label and how you would like to receive it. This form sends a non-binding enquiry, not an order. Online payment is not yet available. You can consult the draft version of MGCODB’s terms of sale. Professionals can request a separate quotation.
