Updated on
At Les Hermessaines, the vineyard walk costs €20 including VAT per person per hour. Truffle hunting costs €99 including VAT per person and is a separate outing in the truffle groves with the dogs searching for truffles. A preferential offer for a group may be considered after you contact us; no discount is automatic. A quotation states the total price and programme; your appointment must then be confirmed before you travel. Visits are mainly in French: another language must be agreed before arrival. A tasting may be arranged for adults; mention this preference to confirm what is included.
Two hours or an afternoon: which visit suits you?
Choose two hours for a first introduction focused on the vineyards and your questions. For an afternoon at the estate, explain what you would like to explore in more depth so you can receive a suitable programme and quotation. Duration does not indicate walking distance: confirm the route, breaks and access arrangements. No meal is advertised as included.
Can beginners take part in a tasting?
Yes. An introduction can begin by observing colour, smelling the wine and putting sensations into words. Mention your interest in tasting when you enquire: arrangements are agreed before confirmation. Tasting is for adults only. You can spit out the wine and request a visit without tasting. Also mention if you need a language other than French.
Where is the meeting point in Suze-la-Rousse?
The visitor address is 637 route de Bigary, 26790 Suze-la-Rousse. Confirm the exact meeting point and access to the plot with the estate before coming. MGCODB’s registered office at 695 route de Bigary is not the meeting point. Wear footwear suitable for paths and clothing for the day’s weather; ask about any mobility requirements.
Plan a group visit and choose the season
Visits are possible every day for up to 40 people in total, including adults and children, only with a quotation and a confirmed appointment. The visit is cancelled if it rains. Vineyard and truffle grove discovery visits can be requested all year round, with a seasonal programme; Tuber melanosporum harvesting and hunting remain winter activities, generally from December to March. Provide possible dates, the number of adults and children and your preferred topic in your vineyard visit enquiry or truffle grove visit enquiry. Drôme Sud Provence tourist office can help with nearby activities and accommodation for the rest of your stay.
