Domaine Les Hermessaines welcomes you at 637 route de Bigary, 26790 Suze-la-Rousse, by confirmed appointment only. The premises are not continuously staffed: agreeing a time ensures someone will be there to welcome you. The plots lie notably around Solérieux; the meeting point and access are confirmed before your visit. MGCODB’s registered office at 695 route de Bigary is not the visitor reception address.
Choosing vineyards or truffle groves
Vineyard visits can be requested all year round by appointment. The visit may cover grape varieties, soils and current work: ask the estate questions to help prepare the content. Truffle grove discovery visits can also be requested all year round, by quotation and with a seasonal programme. Truffle hunting means searching for and extracting ripe truffles: for Tuber melanosporum, this takes place in winter, generally from December to March, depending on the day’s conditions. A visit guarantees neither a harvest nor an amount of truffles to take home.
Prices, duration and language
At Les Hermessaines, the vineyard walk costs €20 including VAT per person per hour. Truffle hunting costs €99 including VAT per person and is a separate outing in the truffle groves with the dogs searching for truffles. A preferential offer for a group may be considered after you contact us; no discount is automatic. A quotation states the total price and programme; your appointment must then be confirmed before you travel. Visits are mainly in French: another language must be agreed before arrival. A tasting may be arranged for adults; mention this preference to confirm what is included.
Visits are possible every day for up to 40 people in total, including adults and children, only with a quotation and a confirmed appointment. The visit is cancelled if it rains. Provide one or several possible dates, the number of adults and children and your preferred topic. Ask for written confirmation of the price including VAT, duration and what is included. Mention your preferred language and relevant access needs, without participants’ personal details. Request a vineyard visit or a truffle grove discovery visit: the form is an enquiry, and the appointment must still be confirmed with the estate.
Buying wine and arranging collection
MGCODB sells L’Automne, Résonance and Le Trésor de Fripon: the wine prices and purchase arrangements list the 75 cl bottle at €10 including VAT and the case of six at €50 including VAT, excluding shipping. Collection at reception in Suze-la-Rousse has no transport charge and is by confirmed appointment only. Before coming, wait for confirmation that the wines are ready and the time is agreed. Delivery and professional offers require a quotation; the form triggers neither payment nor a binding order.
